Who am I?

I am an Italian philologist with experience in teaching language and translation. 
I am also an active examiner authorized to sit on state committees assessing exams in this language.
Moreover, I also work as a translator both in the field of specialized languages ​​and in the field of literary translations. In 2020, I received the Leopold Staff prize for the translation into Polish of “Le confessioni del vegliardo” by Italo Svevo (Sic! 2019).

What do I teach?

I have experience in teaching Italian language at all levels. 
Moreover, I conducted university translation courses.
I conducted trainings for the authors of examination sheets for the state exams.

Why ISSC?

ISSC allows to combine linguistic interests with the broadly understood interests in the culture of this region. The profile of the university course proposed by the ISSC also corresponds to my interests in language, literature and translation as links between cultures.
