Who am I?
I am a sociologist and Mixed Methods researcher. I hold a PhD in Sociology from Trinity College Dublin and MRes in Social Policy (University of Bath). I joined CMR in 2021 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. Previously I worked for various projects focusing on labour market, digital inequalities, mental health among migrants and “Growing up in Ireland”.
What are my academic interests?
My research interests lay within the field of migration, employment and family studies. I also look at how people source social support through social networks. In my work I combine qualitative and quantitative approaches and I also use visual data.
What do I teach?
I will be co-teaching the methodological core of ISSC course Introduction to Social Science Methods in the first term. You will also see me in the second half of your course during the Intense Social Science Methods: Workshop.
