Who am I?
Fabian Welc is a professor of geoarcheology at the Faculty of Artes Liberales, University of Warsaw.
What are my academic interests?
Prof. Welc main research interests are influence of climate changes on past civilizations, archaeometry and application of selected geophysical methos (magnetometry and ground – penetrating radar) for archaeological surveys.
What do I teach?
Prof. Welc lectured in all the major fields of geoarcheology: insight into paleoclimatic archives for understanding past civilization development and fall.
Why ISSC?
The ISSC will provide an opportunity to expose students to a truly interdisciplinary approach to the most important global problem, such as climate change, migrations and systemic risk analysis.
