Who am I?

I’m a philosopher specializing in ethics and practical ethics. I’m also in charge of the Center for Systemic Risk Analysis which focuses on studying threats to systems on which the functioning of humans and societies critically depends, and on seeking and supporting ways of minimizing these threats.

What are my academic interests?

My research interests are focused on the issues of justice and ethical problems related to new technologies, in particular robotization, AI and communication and information technologies. 

What do I teach?

I conduct courses in the field of ethics of AI, ethics of new technologies, and the social impact of new communication and information technologies. I also teach classes on animal ethics.
