Who am I?

PhD of humanities in the discipline of culture and religion studies, graduated from Faculty of ‘Artes Liberales’, University of Warsaw, Western and Southern Slavic Studies, (MA, Cultural Studies) and East European and Central Asian Studies (MA, East European Studies), University of Warsaw. Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the Research Support Office at Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences. Co-investigator in the NCN project: The Topos of an “Immured Woman” in the Cultures of Southeastern Europe and Hungary, 2021–2025(OPUS 2020/37/B/HS2/00152). Editorial Secretary of the journal Nationalities Affairs (SNSN). Awarded with the following scholarships:

What are my academic interests?

  • research on urban space;
  • memory studies;
  • minorities in the Balkans;
  • ethnic and national problems;
  • fieldwork in post-conflict space

“Borderlands: Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean Region” with Prof. Jolanta Sujecka and Maria Piekarska, MA.
