Who am I?
I am a migration researcher and a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow at the Centre of Migration Research. Prior joining CMR, I was a lecturer and postdoctoral scholar at the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research, at New York University. I have a PhD in Sociology from the Jagiellonian University, and M.A.from Dalarna University.
What are my academic interests?
My research is focused on migrant integration and poverty policies in urban contexts. I havebeen studying various aspects of these policies for over 15 years in European and American cities using qualitative and quantitative research methods. Additionally to my academic engagement, I have served as an evaluation consultant for NGOs and centers supporting immigrant communities in Poland and the US.
