Who am I?

I work as a research assistant in Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw. She is engaged in projects about welfare policies towards migrants and their integration. She is also writing her doctoral dissertation at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Warsaw.

What are my academic interests?

My PhD research concerns intergenerational transmissions in Polish migrant families in Germany and lives of migrant’s descendants. Her research interests include identity transformations of migrants and descendants of Polish migrants as well as family relations and sense of belonging of post-accession migrants.

What do I teach?

In ISSC I teach classes on migrants’ identity.

Why ISSC?

Studies at ISSC tackle current social challenges and encourage reflection on them. “Migration and Identity” classes are also conducted in this spirit.
