Who am I?
I am a writer mainly between narrative and poetry. I have a PhD in Humanities with a specialization in literature (University of Warsaw), an MA in Chilean and Latin American Literature (University of Santiago de Chile), a BA in Hispanic Philology with pedagogical studies (University of Santiago de Chile) and two minors, one in Gender Studies and the other in Fundamental Problems of Philosophy (both from the University of Chile). I usually approach literature in Spanish, both from Latin America and Spain. I enjoy both classical and contemporary literature. I am also attracted to media such as cinema. I work as a teacher, researcher and proofreader. My interests range from running to writing. I am also interested in cycling and reading. What are my academic interests?
My research interests focus on literature and other cultural events. On the theoretical level I am mainly interested in sociocriticism, semiotics of culture, gender studies. At the moment, for example, I am writing an article about a book and a film about the Chilean dictatorship.
What do I teach?
Currently in university education I teach literature theory and Spanish. At ISSC I teach Spanish and in my classes I am interested in the communicative aspect of the language, incorporating art, theory, history and culture in general.
