Who am I?
I am migration researcher interested in sociology and anthropology of migration. I graduated from Wroclaw University and University of Sussex and in 2018 I was awarded PhD at the University of Warsaw. I mostly focus on migration from Poland: seasonal migration to agriculture as well as migration of Polish Roma.
What are my academic interests?
My academic interests revolve around gender, construction of national and ethnic identities, and family relations in migratory settings. I am also interested in qualitative social research methods.
What do I teach?
I will teach migration and inequalities as well as migration and individual identity. Both courses will centre on migration and its impact on social and individual level.
Why ISSC?
For the need to bring the topic of migration and inequalities as well as migration and individual identity to the fore of discussions on transforming social fabrics at the European borderlands.
