Who am I?
PhD candidate within the Interdisciplinary Program “Nature-Culture” at the University of Warsaw, Faculty of Artes Liberales. Graduated with MA in International Relations in the Middle East and MA in Environmental Law, both from University of Warsaw. Her doctoral dissertation in Cultural Studies addresses the development of the Jewish-Israeli culture of remembrance in forest spaces. 4EU+ Plurality of Memory Fellow at the Charles University in Prague, recipient of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs Scholarship for Young Researchers.
What are my academic interests?
Her research interests focus on the spatial, environmental and material dimensions of memory cultures, especially the intertwining of memory practices with natural spaces, with main geographical areas of interest being Israeli/Palestinian spaces and Polish landscapes.
What do I teach?
“Borderlands: Central and Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and the Mediterranean Region” with Prof. Jolanta Sujecka and Dr Marzena Maciulewicz.
